I have just received the bad news that my car that was involved in an accident a week ago has been written off. Now I have to go through the whole process of claiming as much as I can from the other insurer and the inconvience of looking for another car. This is really annoying and unfair. I feel like I am being penalised for someone else's fault. I would not be compensated for the time and inconvenience I have to undergo to replace my car. I think there should be an allowance or clause for such things in the insurance policy. Any advice from anyone who has had a similar experience would be greatly appreciated.
