I am on a pre-paid mobile phone. I load it everytime I need to, that's like, all the time:)
Anyway, yesterday I accidentally gave a wrong number. I was so sure I
memorize my phone number I didn't bother to check if I gave the right
one to be loaded. So, I stood there infront of the loading station and
waited. And waited. And waited. No load ever came.
I was so pissed when I ask the seller to repeat the number she just
claimed to have loaded and what do you know, instead of giving her
2250, i gave 2550 and so some lucky fella got a free load from me!
I had to choice but to load again.
Then, I SMS the lucky fellow and said:
Hey You! I was the one who loaded you. Happy New Year. That's a gift from me :)
He replied: (to my surprise) Ow! Thank you. I'll send it back to you.
He did. He actually did.
I find it so surprising.
I mean, if I happened to be on the receiving end, I think I will not give it back :)
Why should I? He/she will never know who I am, much less where I am. We will never meet.
So, why?
Will you? Do the same thing?
Have you ever experience this kind of unexpectedness? It was very pleasant though.
I think I'll take a moment to reflect on this :)

Hi yani!! You asked if I'd do the same thing. I say without hesitation: YES!! =) That actually happened, and I gladly returned the load. You'd ask why... because it isn't comfortable using "it" for your own consumption when you know it isn't yours. I felt good doing that. It's like an imaginary plus bonus I made for myself. Strange, right?
As they say, "if you can be honest with small things, you can be trusted with bigger things".
Btw, are you still in dipolog?

Ah, those kind of little surprising things are what make me think that there is still goodness in the world. Good people still exist. It's a nice feeling, isn't it? :)
I've had that kind of experience as well. Unfortunately, i haven't been able to return it back yet due to money problem. I'm broke :)
Once i've got the money, i'll return it back. Or not :)

Actually I'm from Zamboanga City, I went to Dipolog once to attend a seminar which started a very crazy time in my life. It was where I met "that someone". Thank goodness I'm a little over him. God! It was a weird time.
