    HI whoisit,it's a tricky one. The foolish abuse but the wise do not. It is the art of foolish to make the wise a fool.The wise have to keep their eyes and ears open. Only then can wisdom overpower foolishness.

    peedee - Yes, I think you get it.

    My stepmom always told me and my siblings when we were growing up that she would give us enough rope to hang ourselves. In other words, she would allow our own foolishness to teach us life's lessons. of course, she was always there at the end of the rope holding the proverbial noose...

    A step mom is a step mom. In India we have an ethic called Ramayana. The step mother who had for one such act  sought three boons from the King, which she utilised to send the eldest and the most competent human, now worshipped as God by the hindus,to be deprived of the throne and exiled to the forest for thirteen years. The third favour being the grant of throne to her own son. I am in my own family facing foolishness with utmost courage and tact and that's it.
