Imagine you own a business, you're a little short on people, and the kids are out of school because of summer vacations.  Someone sends in his résumé, and you notice he is 17 years old, one year short of legality.  He has skills and knowledge you could use.

Would you hire him?

It's so hard to get a job as a minor!  God, I've tried so hard... It's ridiculous how they don't even take you into account.  I don't understand why, either, since the Legal Code (in Panama) establishes young people can work from ages 14 and up.  I meet every single requirement, yet no one takes me into account.  Or maybe my English is worse than I think it is?

Really, imagine all of that, and tell me if you would hire him/me.  I've got good presence, and I'm a hard worker, too.  Is it so hard to get a job as a minor in other countries?
