We are only few days apart from the end of the year. I have spent here at Sc only 4 months of this 2006 and yet i met here more friends and just plain good people than during the other 8 months. I have exchanged so many emotions and learned so many other realities that seems i have been here for more than that. Its good. I like to feel in this way.
All of us have fears regrets, dreams, decisions, hopes and happiness. We just try to do our best.
There are people within us who are facing difficulties and dramatic moments: serious illness, abandons, divorces, wrong relationships, dreadful jobs, passionless marriages, far away soulmates, financial difficulties, loneliness, depression, anger.
Others are experiencing some of the best moments of their life: becoming pregnant, becoming uncle, being promoted, finding a new job, having a wonderful Xmas, keeping their children safe and healthy, starting a new business...simply making it with dignity and a smile up to now.
Who knows what the future will bring to all of us tomorrow?
Who knwo if we will stick together or if we will leave this place and never hear of each other anymore. Who will find a new love, a new house, a new meaning in life? Who will finally decide where to live for the rest of their years? Who will smile? Who will cry?
Life is this: a mistery. Uncertain, fragile, delicate and scary.
For all of us, and for me too, tonight i found appropriate these words from the great poet Maya Angelou. I want dedicate them to all of you with my best wishes for a wonderful new year.
Lets go grab our life and do with her the best we can.
