Just so that you know, SoulCast is not my first. And I'm not a bloggin virgin. I joined Cupid last spring, and met a few guys off it. But it wasn't THAT great. Until they added blogging. And the ability to message/chat to the same gender. It opened up a whole new world to me. I started blogging and was one of the first "top bloggers" on the site. Kinda exciting cuz there are over a million members on it (though most don't read the blogs). Anyway, I got to help launch the bloggin, and pretty soon we formed a nice little circle of top bloggers who shared all sorts of thoughts. In fact, I'll probably cut and paste some of my better/funny ones.
Back to cupid. I proposed to the IT guys there that they get rid of their featured columnist because her stories sucked and she couldn't write for shit. And to my surprise, they offered me the job! A weekly column about my dating and experiences on cupid! I was so excited, I went and bought a new laptop (before that I could only blog at work, no computer at home). Well, I soon met my new BF and we decided it was inappropriate to stay on the website, and to write the column (although I still keep in touch with some good friends I made on there). But I loved cupid!
Anyway, I found SC, which is my new home. So far, I enjoy it. But it's kinda nice to know where you're from, your age, even your zodiac sign - it gives you something to talk about!
