Been a while since my last post--was on a well-deserved vacation in the Caribbean. Unfortunately, no celeb sightings, but had a conversation with a friend about "Secretary" the film and it made me cringe to recall the naked Maggie Gyllenhaal in the end scenes. And it inspired this post. Does anyone else feel that this girl is not hot in any way? I'm reminded of past childhood embarassing toys, like the Cabbage Patch Kids. She looks like a cabbage, does she not? I tell ya, it doesn't take much in Hollywood these days.

as a woman, i totally agree with you that mag's "hotness factor" is a chilling zero degrees on the thermometer. however, if the movie wanted to show a realistic portrayal of two average people, then the movie was successful. on the other hand, i'm looking forward to a re-make of "The Secretary" starring some other hot actress; hell, maybe it would be interesting to make the Boss a woman too. then we could see some girl-on-girl action (lol). -
