i love men the same way that most men love women. i love to objectify beautiful men, (and all men have something beautiful about them) and i love to fuck.
now dont get me wrong, most of the people i hang with regularly are men, i have serious relationships with men, hell i even married one once...more mystery women, we need more mystery! of course we love, its in our nature, no need to go lavishing it on when its not going to be returned, and anyways, stop fooling yourself. you think you are in love, and your man is out giving some guy some trim.
some men will read this and say, "oh baby, you just havent had a REAL man who knows how to treat a lady..." and then he will go home to his friends and say, "dude, i met this bitch on myspace who is just like a guy, but shes hot and she likes to fuck!"
when women care less about their emotional attachments to men, the power will shift and the revolution will have begun. the true power men have over women are the pathetic phone calls to girlfriends wondering why this guy fucked and never called, or the waiting by the phone for the call that is never going to come, or simply the pathetics of letting some guy fuck you for months exclusively, and then claim to not be committed. sketchy. women, we must unite. make your boyfriends wonder where YOU are for a change, make that random guy from the bar you made out with last night wonder when you are going to call him back, stop being so pathetic.
take the power back ladies, take it back.
hear hear, you have the right idea darling, there would be a lot less bastards out there if were less doormatts allowing them to be bastards!

OK, first off, why the unreadable font? Say what you want and let it be heard. Second, women treat guys like shit every bit as much as guys treat women like shit. Stop stereotyping gender. There are ass hole guys, and there are bitch girls. In a perfect world, women and men would coexist in harmony, however, it just seems to me that everyone's way to busy fighting foe power.

You have no question picked the wrong people and it seems to have jaded you very badly. I never cheated on a girlfriend because i love a person for who she is and respect that. How could I hurt someone in that way. A real man is responsable for his passions and does not discuss his personal affairs with anyone in the name of conquest. I never did that in my life if i cared about a girl. Women these days ask to be treated and disrepected by not respecting themselves. Being a down right whore as you seem to be discribing does nothing but disrespect yourself.
Fine you love to fuck...yea thats news...who the heck would say the opposit. I don't understand why it even has to be said but to rub it into peoples faces who may not have a chance with you because of some notion you have as a cool or not cool partner based on looks.
I don't mean to say thats you, but this is really disrespectful to all men in its generalization. Of course its not like i don't feel these certain thoughts about women sometimes and generalize. I just know this is not me. i do have one generalization. Girls in LA are so less friendly and warm than the girls in every other part of the country its incredable. I talk to allot of girls in a thoughtful way around the country but none in Los Angeles. I think way too many think like this and should just mellow out. Enough about Sex already, just live life...if love happens....wonderful...if sex happens...wonderful...but have alittle balance!

if i were a man, perhaps i would be a happy stoner too, but i am a woman. this particular journal entry is actually meant for women, not men. although i do understand that men seem to think that everything should be tailored to their feelings, or what they think of as reality. even if you treat your women like goddesses that doesnt take away the partriarchal system of dominance that permeates all aspects of what it is to be a woman in society. a chance with me certainly isnt based on looks, but men who would want to censor my expression of my oppression need not apply. im not one of those chicks who thinks that rap music is negative because rappers refer to women as bitches. i just refer to men however i want to. perhaps you dont like that approach. perhaps we all shouldnt be friends.

I realize that this was a "pep talk for girls" but it appears that you have provoked a larger reaction out of guys. I dunno why. It seams that It's not just women or L.A. Our entire culture is totally oversexed. There is indeed much more to a relatioship's dynamics than sex. Men fall into the same traps of control that you pointed out. We are all human beings, and we all have the capability of feeling the same emotions. It hurts to get played.
I don't think that either one of the guys that responded to this was arguing that women get a whole lot of shit unfairly today, simply because they are women. And that is truly unfortunate. To be brutally honest, I'm glad I'm a guy so I don't have to deal with it. It's proven that women, on average, get payed less for doing the same job. The list goes on and on. You absolutely should not lie down and take it. But at the same time, you shouldn't run to the other extreme and treat men like shit because men have abused you in the past.
And I don't try and treat women as goddesses. I try to treat them as equals. There is a huge difference between loving someone and being dominated by someone. Or dominating someone. this totally goes both ways. Oh, and I think most people recognize the difference between love and lust. They are opposite emotions. Lust is based on self. But it still gets confusing sometimes.
Just my 2 cents, but it probably won't mean anything on the topic of the opression of women, since I'm a guy. But I know what opression is, and I have expierenced it. Laugh if you will at my passionate rambelings.

Timeka-- I hear you girl. I think you're "pep-talk for women" is fucking awesome. I'm nineteen and in LA, and I'm already starting to learn the bastardish ways of young men in this society. I for one am taking a stand against this bullshit, and I'm fucking starting young! So many young women are blinded by what society says they should be and the role they should play-- branding THEMSELVES and eachother as sluts when they mimic the behavior of men. Its time our society actually manifests the abundance of equality it claims to contain. Its time for a fucking revolution of women to finally be equal to men.
