So I have tried to find out through websights where exactly we are in Afganistan. I mean I realize we are still deploying there, but you don't hear about it like you do Iraq. And of course now Iran. I mean let's just invade a damn country, have plans "to stay and keep working hard" (LMAO) and since that seems to be WORKING SO WELL, let's go ahead and start talking about invading (or as me and my husband say) Piss off another country. I mean we start out supporting Iraq during their war with Iran...in essence (even though we won't admit it) assist Hussein to become the monster that he did...Then we capture him-Go to war in his country and now we are thinking about fighting AGAINST Iran. Who's to say they are not all going to turn on us. I understand helping people, but I can't help but wonder if we only helped when we were asked, maybe we wouldn't BE THE DAMN TARGET OF TERRORIST. Why does it seem that invading, going to war, etc is always in our best interest. Doesnt seem like it's working out so well. Why does it seem like WE ARE THE U.N.??? wHY DO WE always enforce what the rest of the countries want. Or do we just not hear about their extensive involvement as much? Websights, links, anything...Help me out here...I am all ears Yes bloc give me some input...LOL

from what I've read we are only controlling a small part of afgasnisthan around teh capital. The Bush admin doesn't seem too concerned about afgasnisthan.

You know I have often wondered, but been felt too stupid to ask, about the point that was made on that link regarding Bin Laden...I have thought for awhile-"WHERE IS THIS GUY" I mean come on. I feel we have totally lost sight of catching him also. My poor husbands bus broke down and he is never going to get here...LOL

his bus? coming home from training?
  • SOLDIERCIPSWIFE said on May 29, 2006....
YES..LOL Then the bus that picked him up to bring him home dropped them off at MCDONALDS 2 hours towards home then drove backwards back to the broken bus, dropped them off and told them that they would have to wait until a mechanic could come and they could fix the bus...His 5 hour trip turned into 15 hours..lol And my husband still had a smile on his face and loving arms to greet us...how he can be so loving and patient in times of stress and exhaustion is so beyond me. I am so so so blessed with this man...
