Men's underwear is rarely discussed. And though for myself I prefer g-strings, I have to admit that a man in a g-string is a MAJOR turn off. G-strings on men are almost as bad as Y-fronts. Gosh those things are ugly.
If I had to choose between normal underpants, boxers and briefs, I'd have to stick with briefs.
A hot guy in briefs - even better, my boyfriend in briefs makes me drool ;)

Don't underestimate the G-string though... I hate wearing G-strings myself because to me it is uncomfortable. My boyfriend on the other hand loved the idea of me parading around in one untill, as a joke, I bought him one for Xmas last year. One day of wearing a G-string and he knew exactly what woman go through to satisfy men. Never had to wear a G-string again. ;) -

Instead of having to pull your panties out of you butt every now and again, its suppose to be there - it just comfier to have thin piece of elastic there, than half your panty.
I started wearing g-strings to avoid the lines being shown on my trousers, but now I find them really comfortable :D -

I don't like wearing g-strings, only if i need to, like to avoid pantyline or to seduce my man :) But on normal days I prefer normal panties.
My bf wears boxers mostly. I've never seen him in briefs :/ G-string on men, never seen but it sounds gay. I don't think my bf would ever wear one anyway. I'd love to see him in briefs though ;)

The only thing close to a g string i've seen on a man is that guy that does borat, and that is close enough for me!! I love wearing g-strings, but only when i'm feeling sexy. If I feel like I just want to lounge that day, I wear those boy shorts things, freaking amazing, and cute!! So your boy never has to know it was an ucky day. -

I never got the concept of G strings either, unless we're talking violins. I've never worn one. A perma-wedgie would not be comfortable.
My husband prefers briefs. I like the look of boxers, but for some reason he won't even try them.

Being a man I dont know if im entitled to an opinion ! but my personal choice is boxers, for space and comfort, never worn a G string but couldnt imagine them ever being comfortable, used to wear Y fronts till i tried boxers and never wore them since. and boxers cant be beaten when your feeling a bit horny ! very very easy access !!!! -

I love g-strings. It almost feels like I'm not wearing anything, and I know some guys find it rather sexy. I had one friend play the game of "what color thong is Jenn wearing today" and yes he HAD to make sure he was right....haha i miss him I digress...

I'll stick with my bikini-cut briefs or string-bikini.And I like the 'peek-a-boo-bum' shorts, as you call them, too. My husband loves them--more than regular lingerie.
