My husband's birthday is coming up next week, and it's our first together since we've been married. So I want it to be special. I'm thinking about giving him something sexy, maybe surprising him in some hot lingerie and giving him a lapdance or something. I need some ideas, because I sort of feel self-centered by purchasing lingerie for ME and passing it off as a gift for him, if that makes sense. Do men honestly consider that as a gift, or would it help to get him something else in addition--like an electronic gadget. The last thing I want is my mother-in-law asking what I gave him...yikes!...and he's standing there sputtering to come up with an acceptable answer. So please, husbands, be honest and weigh in so I can surprise him with something he'll love.

I would make sure it is the wildest thing you can manage considering any inhibitions you might have. Of course depending on you budget you must get him something he can show others. I would suggest something useful such as a nice shirt or if apropriate something for his hobby (if you were my wife I know what my hobby would be hehehe big grin). You have to always give something he can show and tell about not that you in lingerie would be something he could show. But protect him from having to stumble in front of family -
