We’re all normal individuals,

Living in this world.

We put on our masks,

And we don’t show who we are.

And as we put on these masks,

We name them after ourselves.

We say we are simply,

Just like everyone else.

But no one is the same,

And we all need to change.

Show the world who we are,

Take off these masks that make us so fake.

But the longer we wait,

Is the longer we hurt.

And the longer we fear,

To put down our pride,

Is the longer we fail,

To show who we are inside.

If we rip off these masks,

It would be a better place,

But we continue to wear them,

And our time is running away.

This is just a poem I wrote about how people "wear masks" to hide who they really are, cuz they're afraid to be judged by others....I think it's really sad how much of the world just tries to blend in with everyone else.....well, please comment because I'm thinking about writing a song from this, so please tell me your opinions!
