This is a powerful video. Please tell me why the government should ban this.

The best line was when he said that a doctor could give him morphine but not marijuana. Even when he pointed out that when the FDA tests every medical drug and marijuana is the only one known not to cause fatalities. I do find it hard to believe that he doesn't feel any euphoric feeling from the drug, since everyone I've known to do it has and supposedly government produced marijuana is stronger.

Very interesting! I think that perhaps the government should take this gentleman seriously and do some in depth testing and research that is unbiased. I doubt that they will get far with the drug industries though. That would mean waaaay too much money loss in the medical industry. Be good to know the information that could be provided from real research.

    BTW, no, I don't smoke.  :-)

Because then the government would have to admit defeat, once again, with it's ability to "control" it's people...More than that, there would be too big a shift in the economy, in favor of the people because when something illegal occurs, there is the whole court and trial thing..."Make them pay" etc. Besides, it's just too simple an idea for most people to get...Legal means choice-Illegal means profit via thrill or crime.

The thing that gets me is marijuana, or cannibis, is a schedule 1 drug meaning that the federal government has not recognized it has medicinal purposes. Yet, the federal government is the only agency that can prescribe it. How can the government write a prescription for a drug that is not recognized? Hmmm, interesting..... Plus, there is no money in it. Look at the huge campaigns on the war on drugs. Wasted effort? If this is true, then yes. The government makes more money fighting this than promoting it. Like phyxius said, somebody would have to pay and I don't think it would be the government! Then again, something tells me it goes way deeper than that if you look at it globally. These are things I don't even want to concieve of! BTW, I don't smoke either.

This is just one tiny blip on the radar screen on how the government is trying to control us. The federal government took another step recently towards forcing you to carry a national ID in order to get on airplanes, open a bank account, enter federal buildings, and much more. But with state legislatures and Congressional representatives increasingly turning against the REAL ID Act, you can help stop this costly, privacy-invasive mandate -- voice your opposition now.
