  Jiminy Crickets! The ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me. I once had an employee that was literally digging through her hair on front line, then she went to grab a customer's order. She developed an incredibly nasty attitude with me when I asked her to stop and wash her hands. Ultimately, she was terminated over insubordination (it was really bad).

  Ew.  So gross!  I don't think I would have had the confidence to approach her personally, but if I was offended enough by what I saw, I might have slipped a word to the manager.  Not that a manager would readily risk offending a customer, but on the other hand, if other customers are being grossed out or even getting sick, I would think he/she would want to know in order to make the best decision for the restaurant.

  Actually, Bill Engvall who does "Here's Your Sign".  (He's done alot of work with Foxworthy and is on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with him.)

  Zayda: You're totally right.  Foxworthy does the Redneck Dictionary.  The worst part is, Bill Engvall is my favorite of the Blue Collar guys!  Can't believe I got that wrong...this is what posting too late at night will do to you, I suppose!

  Like my daughter would say:  eeewywuuuh!

  Nasty, inconsiderate, hygienically dangerous, potential germs spreading.: that woman should go to jail!

  I would have say something like: Mam, you shouldn't touch the food with your hands. Here, use there. And hand her the pinchers. And if she would have done again or got offended by my remark or looked at me like "Who the hell are you to tell me what to do?" i  would have called some of the guys at the counter and ask to throw all the pizza she touched and replace it. Or my money back.
