Born too late?

If you've been reading, you will know how much I love music. I am particularly fond of the classic rock of the 60's and 70's. I really feel like I've missed out on the best rock bands performing live in concert.

So many of them are gone or not together anymore. I would have loved to see the original KISS or Led Zepplin. I just wasn't old enough to go to the concerts back then. There are so many great bands and performers that I'll never see: Queen, Janice Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, etc...

And then there are bands like The Beatles, who broke up before I was born! if only I had a time machine....

    I saw Queen...Bohemian Rhapsody Tour (Madision Square Garden)

    I saw Led Zepplin instead of going to my senior prom...LOL....

    How bout the Stones?  I saw them in Philli...

    Go to the concerts for the bands you like now, then in 20 yrs everyone will be calling those concerts "the classics"...

    i saw the moody blues at giants stadium in the late 80s. a bit too psychedelic for my tastes, though.

    secretlife, I'm so envious!  I'll bet they were great concerts!  I've never seen the Stones,either.  I've been to every Def Leppard and every Van Halen concert in my area.  I've also been to a lot of concerts in the 80"s and seen many groups from the 80's.
     
    silverwhisper, never did see the Moody Blues either.  still too young to see them. Damn!

    Hi, silverwisper.  Didn't mean to cause any angst.  If its any consolation, the music I listened to as a teenager is now being played on the classic rock radio stations.  That makes me feel old!  ;-)

    I saw the Stones for the Bridges tour ... I am super happy about that. I was soo close with Duran Duran recently but Andy had to quit right before they made it here. I would kill to have seen Zeppelin and the Beatles... Black Sabbath and so many others. Wish I would have seen Def Leppard ... Steve Clark was awesome in his own way indeed. I agree with you though the next one will HAVE to be Aerosmith... it breaks my hear Steven is sick.
