I decided to look on my computer desk for a paper I know I placed there.  I didn't find the paper but I did find a check.  A check that was issued in December 2001.  :~)  It was from an affiliate site.  On that site you could order things & you'd be credited.  I'm shocked I even remember my affiliate ID & password.  I've been deactivated.  The number on the check is still good the company is still in business.  They've sharpened up their act.  I can't make heads nor tales of the web site anymore.  They've made it not so easy to sign up.  So I'm out $31 & some change.  Drat!!!  Oh well.  I really was going to try & deposit but I knew I'd probably be charged some fee.  The moral of the story is take those little checkies to the bank quick!!
