Sorry for the title - my recent stomach pain was bringing back horrible memories! I have never personally read the Harry Potter books, and I never shall! (sounds a bit more British than 'I never will!). However, I have seen all of the films and have noticed the name "Harry Potter" creeping back onto online searches. So what I'd like to know is, are people getting hooked on 'Pott" again because of the new 'stash' coming out soon? If this is true, and by George I think it just may be, then I need to see some comments here from people who have read or are reading the books and how they believe the movies compare.

Why the interest in this particular series of films? Simple: movie adaptions tend to NEVER come close to the tome versions, but in the case of this dynasty-like franchise, it has seemingly beat-out that stereotype. As a result, I want to get a better picture of how readers compare the film to the book, being that the films are doing so consistently well both in financial success and quality.

Hmm. . . .this post is sounding kinda boring compared to my usual musings. I'll take this time for a "side rant."

The New Orleans Saints.   Hehe.   I know, I know - I could just leave it at that. But I can't! I won't! I MUSN'T!  Why did people early in the season actually believe they were going to "roll over" everyone? True, they are doing much better than usual (which isn't saying much!), but how can people start labeling a team, who has been synonymous with defeat, a "powerhouse?" Okay, so maybe no one in the media said this - at least that I know of. I have heard people actually say this, though. Master Yoda: "Mind boggling, it is!"

Perhaps Harry can whip out his new "crack-rok wand o' NFL victory" and poke the gold and black guys with it so they can "get lucky" at some place besides the Louisiana casinos! Stranger things have happened!

Well, not really.

I'm outtie!
