Spontaneity makes me glee = ) !
I would have loved to formulate these musings with more grace and rhetoric--- skimming through the featured posts of today though , gave me the impulse to throw every caution to the wind and put immediacy before accuracy in grammatic and style. Why, you ask? Well, honestly, I always have to remind myself, what is my main motivation for blogging --- communication and not the Pulitzer Prize for blogging ; ) .
Imagine me meeting friends in a coffee shop; I won´t be trudging in with Merriam-Webster´s Dictionary, Warriner´s English Composition and Grammar or William Strunk Jr and E.B. White´s The Element of Style, would I ?
Either, I´ll blurt out that I have tickets and back stage passes to COLDPLAY and tell you in details, how I´ve obtained them. Or, break down crying,wailing how I found out who´s been wearing my undies l lately.......err......random thoughts
Yes, blogging...I always come back to the question, what is it......random thoughts caught in pixels, laced with the occasional JPG´s or GIF´s and a dash of links....to be shared and pondered, discussed.
Sometimes it tickles a memory--- happy and worthwhile to be relived through, or tragic and cathartic.
And blogs are connections.....in every sense of the word.
Last night cookie~crumb was warmly welcomed by members of SC community. To reciprocate the gesture, I had to use the Google more than I usually do; the story behind this I will share some other time ; ).
What amused me the most while googling GrapeKoolaid, waas the first result connected me to SoulCast direct to Grape´s blog.....man, I thought that was cool! It did not dampen my spirit, when my Google search for cookie~crumb did not yeild the same exhilirating moment. I got disheartened by page 3.....yeah, you could check yours first, then please come back to me.
Well, I read a blog, a comment made me interested to click to another blog and in between I googled for an information and consulted the Wikipedia....you know the drill.....
Maybe I´m easy.....get your brains out the gutter = ) . Yeah, I´m easy to please. It made my heart beat more warmer for SoulCast --- the warm welcome, the easy connections (in all sense of the word!) and the endless possibilities of communication.
And the rituals, something you can count on--- the question at the end of the post (even in a rant, there is one!). Tonight, a toast to SoulCast: what piece of trivia do you associate to SoulCast?
Yeah, yeah I could click on the word About, top right of each of our screen, but I would rather make it personal and have an exchange of thoughts.
Please fellow SoulCasters, let´s reminisce, when was the site born? Who was the very first bloggers? Are they still here? Are there ghosts ---- members who once very actively blog and later chose to be passive participants, lurking in SC? And the questions go on....

I love to blather...so no fear, you could share your thoughts freely and at length, sometimes the best things comes through this.....not that I´m branding anyone blatherers....ehh, you know what I mean ; )

LOL, I've never googled my SoulCast name before. I AM on the top og the list...That's kinda scary.... Now I'm gonna go and brag about it to my friends. :)
There are others(imposters) with the same name, but they're further down the list. Muhahaha!

Hi cookie..i am here only by August/September....i agree with CW...maybe Silverwhisper might be more useful.....he was already here when i join SC and i remember asking him how some peole seemed know each other so well...he said that he and other people were friends from another blogsite that went bad. Many of them left and reunite here at SC....

There seem to be some limitations to my editing? clueless cookie~ p.s.
