A cookie~ experiment....or what is a blog in cookie~crumb´s personal point of view.

This is an experimental blog.

I came upon blogging this year and it has fascinated me no end.  From researching and observing, I could personally define it as a dynamic communication. My blog will be my way of learning more about this  20th century evolutionary form of communication.

I´m not a scientist nor an academic. I´m just curious person and I have a great need to exchange ideas and to interact about everything under the sun: from mundane to must-know; from Sesame Street to Shakespeare; from Bill Gates to Billy from around your corner.

Yeah, communication --- the chocolate chip in my cookie = ) .  And the dough that holds it together is FUN ; )

Now for our customary closing blog question, well I am a tradationalist (as traditional as baking cookies for Christmas) --- what is blog in your point of view?

I think you hit the nail on the head cookie.

At first I thought this was a way to keep an on-line 'journal' of sorts.  Kind of like a storage facility out in the sky---

But as I began my own blogging last summer, I discovered it's really a communication mechanism.  It's a way to share yourself and your experiences and perceptions with the world at large here.  And it's fun.

Cookie & SL: You're both of the same mind as myself.

I also use my blog to test out some ideas and the reaction of people to certain topics.

SoulCast makes it so easy to have access to the raw data on these 'experiments', no matter how popular they are or how unpopular they may turn out.

Imagine swapping places with someone else and watching the reaction of people when they think they've really met you.

Sneaky stuff this anonymous blogging thing, Cookie.

Good evening Secretlife, good evening Bronx.

My token of appreciation for dropping by = ) .  I prepared some cookies for both of you in my introductory post.

I hope you don´t mind if I take a seat first?

(((sitting wearily; whew, underestimated how challenging it is to virtually bake cookies.  What the heck was I thinking starting this other life?!)))

Blog - a notebook, an "secret" diary that's available for all to read, correct, comment. Hehe..

BTW, thanks for the cookie you prepared! =)

    Cookie,

I agree with you, SL, and bronx. Also it's a way of 'polishing' my writing skill :)

Btw, you really remind me of Paperbackwriter. One fellow soulcaster who now has left. Dunno why :/

    Cheers ;)

If I may, I'd like to share my blogging story with you.

SoulCast was not my first blog, you see, there have been others.  It was my original intent to write strictly political topics on SoulCast, like my other blogs.  Politics, both local and global, is an interest of mine.  I browsed through some of the other writers here, and I was blown away by their candor, their capacity to share, and overall, their humanity.

Inspired by such, I decided to write on a more personal level.  Sure, I still write political topics, but I have other interests, too.  The response I got was truly heartfelt.  I guess what I'm trying to say, in my own convlouted way, is that you get exactly what you put into it here.

Now, I blog on SoulCast exclusively and I haven't checked my other blog sites in months.

Thanks for letting me tell my little story.

    Best regards,

    Grape.

Hey, C~C, don't get weary too soon. Take it one post at a time and one comment at a time.

Hope you're seated more comfortably now?

I think you'll be fine, especially once you find your rhythm again.

Just a quick peek, guys; I would come back at a later hour....Hhhhhmm but this is VERY interesting to pass, missb: what prompted this impression, I am VERY curious. Excuse, the format but somehow my editing feature is reduced to a simple box: type in; send; and unable to break characters to separate paragraphs. : ( cookie~

    Cookie,

There are some similarities between you and Paperbackwriter. Maybe that's just in my head. I'm not sure other people would agree.

You both have this similar cheerfulness, zest, kind of similar way of "blogging", similar entrance and similar way of approaching other soulcasters. By blogging I mean the way you "speak" and even the way you use a lot of these ~ {}: -) * >< (I dunno what you call them)

    So, are you Paper? :)

    Cheers!
