cookie~crumb´s baptism of fire...

I´m cookie~crumb, well,  it will be the name I will go by in SoulCast.

The curious would enquire, pray tell how did you come upon this epithet?

The first response would be, I simply love cookies yum yum yum = ) ; the second is I´m terribly  fond of rhymes or in this case alliteration...here comes cookie crumb.....dum dum dum ; ) ; the third and last reason, it feels right...and I follow my heart most of the time.

So, yes cookie~crumb I will be.

Hhhmmm, as I´ve observed at this point one poses a question to the members of the community, don´t we?

Let me see, ah yes what´s your favorite cookie?

  • dailyachesandpains said on Nov 20, 2006....
Well, cookie, I don't eat as much as I should.  I've got a bit of an eating disorder.  SO, talking 'food' is a bit difficult.

Okay, I got it...I LOOOOVE tobasco on popcorn!
  • cookie~crumb said on Nov 20, 2006....
Now, I´m intrigued ;  ) , tobasco on popcorn...well, I try everything once daily (may I call you that? ) *LOL*

Hope the eating disorder does not hamper your everyday life?

....I´ll skip over to your blog and read more...

    Cookie,

You're so cute :) I get the feeling you'll be one of the newbies who will get 'popular' in no time.

Anyway, i like cookies too. And my favourite is the basic chocolate cookies :)

    Cheers!
  • cookie~crumb said on Nov 21, 2006....
And you are sweet missb = ) .

Popularity is a bit scary though, you tend to get the ire of a lot of frustrated bloggers; let us not to mention the bloggers who seriously worked on being popular,  what do you think missb, being a seasoned member of SC and all?

Before I forget my gift to you; sorry, I could not find a whole chocolate cookie in the jar but I will bake some now and bring it over to your blog.

    See you later,

    cookie~

    hello ;-)

I used to have a major thing for lemon puffs but these days I really appreciate a good quality shortbread.

And of course chocolate biscuits are almost always appreciated.

Hey there Cookie.  Welcome our little neck o' the woods.

I've found many interesting people here.  I hope at the very least you find an engaging conversation or two.  That in itself makes this site worthwhile, IMO.

As to my favorite cookie, I haven't had a cookie I don't like, so I can't really say.

Though as of late, I've been really into white chocolate chip-cranberry cookies.

Even if it's just crumbs, yum.(hey that rhymed!)

    Best regards,

    Grape.

Cookie (C~C?): Don't mean to alarm you; but, at this rate, you may be a SoulCast commander-in-chief soon. You've made quite an entrance!

Hey, rhyme this, for my welcome to you:

The only kind of cookies I've had lately are the computer kind, but yours is a more scrumptious type, especially since the crumbly kind are said to be the best kind!
  • cookie~crumb said on Nov 21, 2006....
Bronx § Let me greet you first Bronx, since you are the most recent visitor of my blog; I welcome you to my humble abode, for that is how I see my blog from now on.

Please, have a cookie...  err I mean this cookie ;  )

ooooh, I like that when someone gets me = )

I lurrv the rhyme it made my toes curl up in pleasure, really! I hope to hear much more in the future...

Excuse me I will just welcome the other guests, and then I´ll be scooting over your blog...

    later,
    c~c

    P.S.
(whispering) err... Bronx, hope you don´t mind that I did not acknowledge the compliment you made above....but thanks, I think :  / ....I want to keep a low profile, see?  You know, gurrl just wanna have fun ;  )
  • cookie~crumb said on Nov 21, 2006....
    Hello,  Alyss = ).

    Please, call me cookie.

I´m also an admirer of Lewis Carroll (you just gave me an idea; thanks!); Alice in Wonderland was a childhood treasure.  Though, I must admit I don´t quite have anymore distinct memory of Through the Looking Glass ---well, I was just wondering what to reread again from the bookshelf, now I know  ;  ).

And, please help yourself: lemon puffs, short bread or chocolate biscuits.

I just have to dash virtually to London, Alyss your mention of biscuits reminded me of an English girlfriend,  and also an unforgettable trip with my hubby sooo long ago.  With all the sweetness, I have to take a break and eat something spicy.
  • cookie~crumb said on Nov 21, 2006....
I´m back ;  ) ...hhmm let me see...

Ah  Grapekoolaid, how do you do?  Your name is reallllly cool ;  )!

I think, everyone would appreciate a drink after the cookie-eating galore *lol*

I could read between the lines that you are very fond of the members of the SC community, Grape.  May I call you Grape?

I´m here basically to have fun,  and to learn more about blogging --- it´s evolutionary development.  In a word I will call it an experiment ;  ) .

Now,  for your welcome cookie in my humble blog; help yourself please, cookies to your heart´s desire.  Or would you rather have your cookie of the moment ? ;  )

Thanks so much for the very warm welcome, G!

Mmmm.... Those cookies look lovely...  Thank you.  They would make a perfect after-dinner dessert.  I may have to run out to the grocery store just to get some now.

You're absolutely right about a few things.  A drink is definitely good after a cookie-fest.  Grape kool-aid(or any flavored kool-aid for that matter), however....Probably not as good as a nice, warm glass of milk(with a pinch of salt).

Another thing you're right about is my fondness of people here.  The lot of them are kind, warm, and smart folks.  I've learned much from them.  I'll finish this comment(what I learned about blogging from SoulCast) at your other post.

    Best Regards,

    Grape.

Warm glass with a pinch of salt, first I´ve heard of it --- as I´ve said I´m willing to try anything once.....hhhmm the power of suggestion, I´m suddenly craving for a plate of cookies myself , to go with that milk. ;  )
  • Bronx said on Nov 22, 2006....
Shucks, Cookie, your 'humble' abode's already got the trappings of real success.

Thanks for all the scrumptious cookies.

I understand about the need for modesty, and you're very welcome about the compliment; and, SoulCast really is the place for a fun time.  Later, then.
  • Alyss said on Nov 22, 2006....
Cookie might I also suggest The Looking Glass Wars as an alternate story. Not where my name came from though but a story about another Alyss.
  • cookie~crumb said on Nov 22, 2006....
Aww... Bronx {{blush}} thanks, and you welcome! See you around c~

    Hey Cookie!!!

Ahhh....you're so adorable!! I feel like pinching your cheek, you're that cute :) [claps her hands in joy] Thanks for the cookie. It was yummy!!

Yes popularity can be scary but if it hits you, just take it ;) I've been here about 4 months and i've been loving every minute of it. This is truly the greatest place to be. I'm sure you'll be enjoying SC and having a lot of fun here :)

    Cheers!

Thank you all for being accomodating to my harmless charade.

I wish I could continue as cookie~crumb because I would have loved to be a SC detective or historian.

Addressing SoulCast, I never clicked my Ads nor clicked on cookie´s.  I lost the password and cannot access this blog.  I would love to use cookie for the sole purpose of study, research and recording the history of SC and understanding everything about blogging.  It would be great to have her back specifically the password.

I am here to make this blog available or accesible through my conversations.

    Happy Holidays Everyone!
