I was totally drained of energy yesterday. Managed to take a potential buyer out to view 6 houses in the heat & humidity for a few hours. We were both tired at the end of it. But I was really glad (!) this buyer kept to the appointment! Boy! Was I glad! I didn't care if she buys from me or not. That's not important. My husband and I agreed that it didn't matter. Actually, at the end, she told me that she nearly cancelled the viewing! Yikes! That would have been another terrible blow for me, esp after having made plans with my colleagues to show their listing as well!

But it ended on a somewhat sorry note for the buyer. Guess what. The buyer's car stalled when she was about to drive home! Yikes! (Crikey!) My bad luck must have rubbed onto her ... I felt terrible. How weird, as she said the battery was a new one.

Sigh....

Got to go now. Have to cheer my aged parents.....who are living a few kilometres away....we have dinner with them on alternate weekends.

Oh, I don't think your luck rubbed off on her (although it does seem catching at times). :)

Sounds like bad mechanics to me. I am willing to bet her alternator is bad. Probably killed her battery.

So were you stuck waiting with her to get assistance? Hope that didn't ruin the evening for you (although I am sure it did for her, more's the pity).
