Who's reading CreativeWoman (614):

Today has been a fairly uneventful day.  It’s been one of those days where I worked continually, but didn’t really accomplish what I wanted to. It happens.  My mind drifted to various random things and I thought I would share some of them with you.

I marveled at the wonder of hair wax.  I seem to be on a roll when I style my hair with it lately.  I actually LIKE my hair.  What’s up with that?

I microwaved a potato dish for 30 minutes and they were still crunchy.  I still don’t know how I managed that.

I realized that the line is shorter at my hometown Burger King drive-thru because the food sucks.

I got asked out on a date by a local guy who knows I’m married.  Didn’t see that coming.

I realized I could not go on denying myself popcorn.  I ended up popping myself some the old fashioned way on the stove.

I looked at Sheppard Smith on the Fox News Channel and wondered what kind of make-up he uses.

I wondered if Bigfoot really exists.

I decided I need to take a computer graphics course.

Somewhere along the line, I managed to get some writing done even though my mind was never quiet.

I’m always thinking about something.  Always.  I even find that if I fall asleep praying, I’ll often wake up in the morning still praying about the same thing.

Maybe my constant stream of thoughts is what shapes me into a Creative Woman.

Interesting CW......I not sure why....but I enjoyed reading about your random thoughts.  maybe it's just because they're random.

CW:  My son can't live without hair wax!  He flips the front up...

What'd you say to the guy who asked you out?

  • MissMimi said on Nov 18, 2006....
Okay, once again I am clueless.  What is hair wax?

CW, I love this blog.  Mind if I borrow the idea sometime?

You are a creative woman, CW. I also like your random thoughts post, it's very amusing.

It's only natural that we think about things which sometimes are trivial, but you put it into words. That makes the difference between you and me. I would never thought of writing them :)

    Cheers!

Yeah, i am curious about that guy who asked you out too....keep us posted! :-)

CW...btw......isn't this the way we all think most of the time? randomly, picking from a lot of different input, connecting strangest things....at least i do it......

Ramdom thought, something that we all have throughout the day, but never thought to write them out like that CW, I like that you shared yours.

I like it when you post streams of consciousness like that.

What did you say the guy who asked?
  • CreativeWoman said on Nov 19, 2006....
    secret,
The guy who asked me out is a local guy that I have been instant messaging with.  He's been just a friend for at least a year.  I agreed to a cup of coffee maybe after Thanksgiving.

    Mimi,
Hair wax is kind of like pomade.  You put it on your hair after you blow dry it.  You can shape your hair into a its style with your fingers and it will stay.  I love the stuff.  I use a product by Bed Head.

(Of course you can write your own random thoughts. I wouldn't mind if you borrowed the idea.) I might decide to post mine again sometime too.

    missb,
Thank you.  I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    ginger,
He's just a friend, but he's been a good one.  :-)  It will just be coffee if I don't chicken out.

    cops,
Thanks.  Maybe I'll keep posting this type of thing.

    MsStar,
    Thank you.

    Alyss,
I said yes to coffee.  He's been an ear to some of my troubles.  We instant message just as friends. I know where he works and where he lives.  He's a nice guy. I guess he thinks I'm nice too.
