I have been a member of Helium for almost a month now.  It is a sight that is driven by it's users to share opinions on a wide variety of topics.  You can talk about food, health, science, computers, lifestyles, entertainment, the list goes on and on.  The best part is that you have a chance to get paid for your opinion.  The better your opinion on the more popular topics, the more you get paid.  Let me explain how it works.

When you submit an article on Helium it stays there forever.  The article is then rated by the Helium community against other articles of a similar topic.  When your article gets near the top it receives money.  The payout could be as small as 1 cent or as large as 2 dollars.  The more your article is viewed the more the payout also.  The topics with more articles receive larger payouts.

You can respond to the thousands of articles already written (recommended for newer users) or you can intiate your own articles on topics that you create.  The incentives are the same here as written above, however if you are the one to initiate the topic, then your payout is generated by the number of views and responses to your topic.

You will not make money with Helium by submitting poor articles, with spelling and gramatical mistakes or articles with poor content.  This site is for people looking to share opinions and getting paid to do it.

The best part is that your articles stay on Helium forever.  This month you may get zero earnings for an article, but next month you may begin to earn on it.  You can earn for an article that you have written 6 or even 12 months prior, so long as it is getting viewed and rated.

I engourage everyone to check out Helium today.  (Please note:  Though I have put many links here, there is no incentive to sign up other people like many other websites out there.  helium is an honest community looking for dedicated folks to share their opinions.

I might have to check that out. Do you think people write an article on that site then set up links to it to get more views? Writing.com is another good writing site, more so for creative writing than articles though.

The views run more through the community.  They have a rate articels section on their webpage that allows you to rate articles at random.  Including some that may be on one of the topics where you posted.  It is always a good idea to rate some article as well as write them.  In the end everyone in the community benefits.  I haven't tried linking articles.  I contribute 1 or 2 a day and see what happens from there.

Why not you combine writing.com with ur own idea. Simple like copy and paste

I suppose you can do that.  Today I did a video game review that I submitted on wtitingup.com and also to helium.

I too have been writing on helium for about a month now. It is a great site. If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can link to your articles on helium, but that won't increase your rating. The rating is done solely amongst the helium community. I made a penny last month on the one article I had up at the time. LOL.

I'll have to checkout writing.com. I don't believe I've landed on that site yet. Thanks for the good info and best wishes to all.
