I'm feeling belligerent today. Anybody want to put 'em up? ;-)
It's more like...an awareness of how easily I could be drawn into a heated argument, than a desire to be spiteful or anything.
We don't have any plans today, except for picking up portraits (the sepia toning, antique-style ones we had done weeks ago) at three. I'm excited to see them, though I know they'll be outrageously expensive and we'll buy a lot anyway (our first family portraits ever).
Other than that, my left hand hurts more than it has in the past six months. I can't close or open it all the way without a lot of aching. Stupid tendon/tendinitis. (Why am I typing then, you ask? Because I'm occasionally really dumb) I have a great hot/cold pack that's in the freezer right now. It has a thumb loop and wraps around your wrist with velcro straps to hold it in place. That was the most thoughtful Christmas gift I received last year (courtesy of my DH). :)
Oh! I saw something cool on youtube...let me dig it up for you before I publish this.

*shrug* Either is possible, but the first is what the doctor said when I went for it five years ago.
Yeah, I'm excited about the portraits! If I can borrow my father-in-law's scanner soonish, I might have to post a couple (at least a few of little one by herself). I hope they came out well!

I know what you mean about the belligerence. Some days you just know you can't be messed with.
I'm pretty familiar with tendinitis myself (in my left wrist also, if I held my guitar wrong while practicing, and once in my ankle from a weird pair of shoes). Sorry to hear you've been struck with such a thing; I know how painful it can be. Sounds like you've got a nifty little cold pack for it though!
I hope the portraits come out well. Your first family portraits - so exciting! :D

I have carpal tunnel in my left wrist and have one of those braces that i wear when the tingling gets to be too much.
The cable company set me off yesterday and then again today -- I think I could have started a fight with Ghandi today.
