Pranks are a part of growing-up, I suppose. My sisters and I were never big into pulling pranks though there was this one time...

There was a little boy named Marky who lived down the road from us. Periodically he would come over to play. This little boy was quite annoying and we didn't like him much. Well, at the time my mom was working nights, so she was in bed sleeping while all of what follows happened.

Marky came over to play. We told him that we didn't want to play or couldn't come out to play since or Mom was sleeping or some such. He would not go home. He kept pestering us. I must have had an evil bone in my body that day because I believe it was my idea to put coolaid in our squirt guns and shoot Marky who happened to be wearing a white shirt with them. May be then he would get the picture and leave us alone.

He got the picture all right. He ran home crying to his mom. Before too long Marky's mother was on the phone talking to our mom. Mama turned to us and asked us if Marky had been over to the house. Naturally, being kids who had no desire to get in trouble, we looked up at her with big innocent eyes and said that no he hadn't been over today. We hadn't seen him. We weren't prone to lies and perhaps Marky was so they believed us.

What pranks did you pull when you were growing up?

So that's what we did.

Art is different for kids than it is for adults. It is very important for children to be able to create arts and crafts on their own without copying from an adults model...
She's 28. She's mentioned in my last blog, about a really good day.
