  yeah.. i know heheh :D sometimes when I stare people down because I caught them looking at me and it doesn't work, I try to look down, or I just turn around and place my attention somewhere.

  Yes, it is RUDE to stare. There are times when you are being looked at like a dissected frog over a microscope. Hehe, just making you smile. I guess some people don't really intend to stare, but they simply adore you or are smittened by your sight. But for me, I just don't get affected, unless of course they are looking at me because something is really wrong. =)

  There, a complain like yours would be simply out of this world. Men stare at us when we walk, men of any age turn their head when we pass by but also we girls look at men and stare at men as well. We look at each other and we appreciate beauty. What is so strange in this?

  Guess is a matter of cultural boundaries. I admit that in Italy sometimes some men go definetely overboard whistling, making faces, some men clapped his hands when i was passing by...but this is not the rule...but its a rule and its socially accepted to look and be looked.

  The eyes are made for this, like the good Moonriver said...wise man....:->

  Just be happy to have a good look and be appreciated for it. Otherwise you would be here writing how ugly you must be if noboy ever looked at you. You would feel invisible, shouldn't you?

  Then, as another wise man like Silver said...there is a difference between an admiration stare and a serial rapist stare.

  D&C Moonrivers comment made me smile, there is an art to staring.  Have you ever been with a guy only to catch him staring at other females?
  Most guys I know are very discreet, but there have been the odd couple who just can't help themselves and they are so obvious about it.
  When you question them, they say 'Your imagining it I wasn't staring' Huh how pathetic, these are the guys that need to learn a bit of subtlety!

  I can't remember the last time a man looked at me.  I'm not kidding!  Yikes, doesn't make me sound terribly attractive or alluring....this is a depressing post!!  I'm going back to Italy - yes, when I was there I got looked at but that's not saying much because as was noted above - Italian men look at every woman they see!

  Cheers Y'all. Actually I forgot to mention in the post that they were staring at me like I was naked. heheheh :D And these two men were viewing me from head-to-toe, which kinda made me a little uncomfortable.
  
  Gingersoul is right. It is actually a matter of cultural boundaries. Here in the Philippines, where people are conservative, when they appreciate beauty, if they are staring, they will couple it with a friendly smile and tell you "Hi ganda" or in English "Hi Beautiful". What probably made me uncomfortable was that they were twitching and licking their lips while they were staring. It really wasn't at all comforting and friendly. :D
  
  I actually have been stared at and been looked at many times before. I didn't seem uncomfortable before because they were expressing it in a friendly way. I guess also, I had a phobia with a more than your average from stares from my male fans. heheh :D
  
  Well, when I was in high school (I was fifteen at that time and really petite), a man was staring at me from head to toe, it didn't bother me at first, but when he suddenly bolted at me and  attacked me. ( it was noon and the sun was UP !) He yanked me to a secluded area and everything happened in a flash. Thankfully, I know a couple of moves or too and screamed at the top of my lungs and I managed to escaped with a few bruises and stuff. :D Since then, I got a little cautious when it comes to these things. :D

  moonriver confucius say: me think you need learn ancient chinese martial art to filter out bad stare from good stare. first tai chi. then kung fu. also aikido good substitute, recommend by my other persona name moon rivazen. i give same good sunday morning advice to rta. if red-blood healthy male still unfaze, coming strong to you, then maybe he interesting guy to meet. kick his ass, break some bone, then bring him hospital to know him better. you are philippine. philippine-chinese mix produce very beautiful people. very good blood ties with south china especially fujien province. but philippine funny spelling, make into "fookien". sound very naughty.
