Yesterday when I cycled to East Coast Park and went to their Bedok Jetty, I saw an angler being surrounded by a group of children who cheering for the angler big catch. He pulled out his catch from the sea and landed it on the jetty platform with great joy. He then ordered the children to place the big into the container s that the fish can remain alive at least a while. I moved toward the group slowly and asked whether I can keep the fish by paying them, and they point me to the angler who look friendly and his age looks around 50 plus. Then he was so generous and allow me to take the fish. Quickly I search for a plastic bag and place the fish inside it then cycle to nearby beach as fast as I can and make sure I am out of their sight so that I can release the fish back to the sea. I feel so happy and great because this is the first time I released a fish back to the sea and I hope I can do more often. I did had a great deal of doing it and you will feel the same too when you did something so meaningful.

I am sorry because I, myself just moved to Singapore last month and still looking for a job here. But from what I observed in the recruitment agencies such as Jobstreet.com and Jobsdb.com, most of the engineering job also SGD2.5 and above. Good luck to you. Anyway, where are you from?

I'm from Philippines, where career and profession doesnt get along.
If you're an engineer you'll end up in a different career line.
    Worst....

But I'm not affected by it and was able to stick with my profession and enjoying my salary.

I just wanna know about careers, profession, industries, salary and cost of living in singapore.
A person from Spire called me and asked if I'm interested to work with them.
They did'nt inform me about the salary but I'm really interested on the position.
I dunno how'd they know me, but they're asking to send my credentials.

    SG$2.5K?
Wow! Not bad...but it will be just enough if I'm going to migrate there.
Living in this world can be treated as troublesome.
    Anyways thanks!
    Good luck to our careers!

I'll inform you if I accepted their offer.

Hi. Sometimes it is very much depend on your own cost of living. Some people with SG$5k also not enough. I always believe that it is not how much you earn but rather how much you save matter most. With S$2.5k above and without paying instalment for car or condo, it can be consider very well here. I am going to attend my much awaited interview on this coming Monday as I am looking for customer services job in banking industry. I just received their call this evening.

Maybe if you are around Singapore one day, you can contact me and maybe we can meet up. Only my suggestion. Haha.

    All the best to you
