I have an hp psc 1310 series printer that refuses to print. It's a printer, scanner, and copier combination. It worked one day and the next it didn't. I get two different messages. One tells me that I have a paper misfeed and the other tells me the printer cartridge is stalled.
Paper will draw half way through and stop. I remove it and it pulls in another sheet of paper in the same way. I clear it. Then the printer cartridge will not move across the paper. It acts like the paper is blocking it and makes a terrible clunking sound. However, if I open the cover the cartidges will move across to the center position.
I have cleaned the printer inside and out. I also used compressed air to blow it out. I took the printer cartridges out and cleaned them off and put them back in. Nothing seems to help.
Any suggestions on what I can do? Would uninstalling it and then reinstalling it do any good?
Thanks,
CW
