I could reminisce during my courting days with my current wife, that we used to have sex almost on a daily basis. Gradually, over the years, it had become an occasion of twice a week, and soon it tapered off to probably once a month!
Well, I thought at first that this 'lack of sex' type of marriage relationship was uniquely my own. Low and behold, when I started to discuss this matter with a couple of my old buddies, most of them were telling me they had the same problem! And we all can agree that the lowest point of our sexual life with our spouse, was after the childbirth of our respective children.
Since we males could really blatantly be called 'horny bastards', it can be very frustrating when being rejected by our 'other halves'. Despite the so many times I had talked it over with my wife about there really was a problem in our sexual life, she would just shrug it off and asked me instead, to be less demanding as we were already sexual partners for many years and so it would only be natural to try containing our lust while putting more attention into our children. With much aghast, I really didn't know how to respond anymore.....except to start finding lovers outside the realm of our loving home! In other words, if we did not have home cooked dinners, we might as well eat out!!!
While I seek non-commital sexual relationships via online chatrooms to relief myself, as well as occasional one-nite-stands at pubs, male friends that I know of seem to start having affairs with either their colleagues or other ladies out of their daily lives. Some of them may resort to lying about themselves being bachelors, while thinking they could contain that sort of relationship to be of short term nature, while others may have affairs with women (marrieds or singles) who would not mind them being married at all.
Since I understand that biologically, men need to procreate more often than women although there may be exceptions, who is to be blamed for men being promiscuous? I need opinions from both male and female readers......
