On massages
I find it strange that, in a world of microwaves, dishwashers, and washing machines, things such as yoga and massages are becoming even more popular. Let’s face it- for most of us, life was a lot harder for our parents and grandparents, who did not have such amenities. Back in the day, if you wanted to heat your house, you would have to chop some logs, haul them over to your house, find some matches, light the logs, keep the fire going, and make sure that your house did not burn down. Now, many people living in households can simply adjust the knob of their thermostat.
Even so, there has been a rise in massage and yoga classes among males and females. Why are such programs becoming so popular? Did some guy stub his finger on the microwave? I’ll accept that there are reasons for the surge; people are trying to do more in one day, work has gotten more competitive, blah blah blah. Even so, it’s strange that the more time-saving items exist in a house, the more stressed people end up getting.
