THUNDER!  I've been listening to an ACDC greatest hits compilation.  It gets me all pumped up on a gloomy day such as today.

What's the last CD you listened to?

A Thunderstruck CW  :-)

Most recently it was Bach's Mass in B Minor, though I can't take credit for putting it there. Our local Tower Records store is closing and my older son bought it just to check it out.

I spent part of the day cleaning, so I threw in several CDs in the changer:

    The Crow
    Soundtrack
    Rarities ~ Indigo Girls
The Great Divide ~ Scott Stapp
Mind, Body, & Soul ~ Joss Stone
Greatest Hits/The Road Less Traveled Deluxe Edition ~ Melissa Etheridge
    and oddly...

    Bach's Mass in B Minor

My car has a near virgin CD player. The car is a few years old, but I just got a new radio/CD player less than a year ago. The original radio was haunted. It kept going on and off by itself and changing channels. I found out, after some internet research, that it was happening to others with the same model car. I usually listen to talk radio. Must get my right wing Republican marching orders you know. I also listen to a couple of Christian radio shows depending on how early or late I go to and from work. However, if a CD was going to be put into the CD player it would probably be the Beatles. I try never to settle for second best.

Isn't interesting all the different styles of music we listen to?  I listen to many different artists depending on my mood.

The lastest CD I had in my player was Dick Tracy's soundtrack by Madonna. I like musical type of songs. I sang along too, had great fun ;)

    Cheers!

    missb,
I have that soundtrack on cassette somewhere.  I haven't listened to it in ages.

    scaly,
Is that new Bob Seger CD good?  I love his old stuff.

    silver,
See, I never watched that episode.  I loved Buffy, but that didn't appeal to me.  Did I miss something good?

    xerendipity,
I've never heard her music.  Maybe I will check it out next time I get to a Barnes and Noble.

    johndoe,
Is Crazytown a rock group? Are they new?  I haven't heard of them yet.

I think I'm going to go buy the new Hinder CD today.  I fell in love with one of their songs I heard on the radio.

I have a 25 cd changer and it had 24 cds in it.  I just push the random button and I'm set for pretty much the whole day.  The 25th cd that I pulled out a couple of days ago was Lou Bega.

    1. Phantom of the Opera, 2 discs
    2. The Killers ~ Hot Fuss
    3. Latin Mix USA 2 ~ Various Artists
    4. Bollywood Hollywood ~ Movie soundtrack
    5. Sean Paul ~ The Trinity
    6. Tarkan ~ Tarkan
    7. Maroon 5 ~ Songs About Jane
    8. Michael Buble ~ Michael Buble
    9. O-Zone ~ Discozone
    10. Ultimate Disco, 2 disc set ~ Various artists obviously
    11. Mix cd of favorite country songs
    12. Dave Clark Five ~ Satisfied with You/5 by 5
    13. Random mix cd with favorite upbeat tunes
    14. Lindsay Lohan ~ Speak
    15. Mix cd of favorite Anastacia songs
    16. Mix cd of techno/dance remixes
    17. Mix cd a friend made me with really random crap, including the Disney cartoon theme songs
    18. KT Tunstall ~ Eye to the Telescope
    19. Lindsay Lohan ~ A Little More Personal (or whatever that album is called)
    20. Yet another mixed cd of randomness
    21. Mix cd of random British artists, from the Beatles to today
    22. And last, but certainly not least, a mix cd of favorite oldies

And now that I've pulled out all 24 cds to look at them, I might as well go put in a whole new set of cds.

I am old enough to remember the Saturday Night Fever craze. The soundtrack filled with Bee Gees songs will always be one of my favorites. I got caught up in the disco fever of the day....
Great deal on the The Garmin Nuvi 255 GPS unit; free downloads of: Serena Ryder - All for Love, Hollywood Undead - Young, The Almost - Lonely Wheel, Conjunto Atardecer - Tu Pasado, Carrie Underwood - The Change!...
an update, and more than a little bit about having been a part of history last night......
