Just came back after watching the lates Hindi movie, "Jaan-e-maan" starring Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Preity Zinta. I must say that New York never looked so grand and beautiful in even Hollywood movies! Bollywood or the Hindi Film Industry is really getting ompetetive and the cinematography of New York, especially the Brooklyn Bridge is breathtaking in this movie. I like watching such beautiful cinematography which makes even the simple everyday places look so beautiful.The movie is a bit comic bit emotional, lots of song and dnace just like any other masala movie, but it's quite entertaining. Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan enjoy good onscreen chemistry. Preity Zinta had nothing much to do ( infact she hardly mouths more than one line in many scenes) but maybe the NRIs will love the movie. I enjoyed myself except when some songs just dragged on for quarter of an hour...

Anupam Kher does a Kamal Hasana as in "Appu Raja" playing a dwarf and a normal person separately. Some scenes of him and Salman are hilarious.
