A psychiatrist once told me that I intellectualized a lot; it's not until I read your words, "...the ugly product of withered affections." that I realized why. I'd be willing to bet you're a Gemini, or a Virgo; there is a strong Mercurial influence in your way with words. I'll admit I'd have to look a few words up to understand it all, but I love the way the words flow. It's very catchy when you get the hang of it, and you certainly bare your soul. I wouldn't worry about the exposure. For sure nothing is sacred on the net, and copyrigt is often ignored, but you have most of your pieces dated. Just sign and date your stuff, it will be good back-up should you ever want to contest something. On the otherhand, publishing some of your work is good for making a name as a poet, so with the great comments you will have less trouble finding a publisher. I too had to consider this when putting my art archive in a web page, but I figure if copies of my work start gathering interest, I just might be able to sell the originals. If you are curious, here's the URL: http://pats-cyberspace.tripod.com You could publish yourself. In my e-mail file I have the contact for a Christian publisher who I'm sure would see the Christian content in your work. Basically you pay to have it done; the price is not too outrageous, but beyond me for now; that's why is stashed for future reference. If you are interested e-mail me at: pats-cyberspace@rogers.com and I'll dig out one of their info e-letters out and send it to you.

    cyberscribe,

i've been out of the loop for four days. i was pleasantly surprised, though, that you have posted this for me. thank you for your vote of confidence. i have yet to check the links you have given, but i will definitely do so later.

given the massive infringement of copyright laws in the net, i am heeding the advise of our fellow soulcasters to delete the poems (i hope it's not yet too late).  on the other hand, i am not very much worried about infringement as i have enough documentary evidence to prove they're mine.

again, thank you for your generous comments and this post.

    yours,
    quidnunc

Hey, nice to read your response. It's really odd; when I go into my home page, I still feel like I'm in a new neighbourhood. It seems only mere chance that I stumbled on this interaction. I've been quite preoccupied myself lately: doing some updated to my web site, and taking Tripod up on their invitation to promote my site. I have another blog community: URL http://www.livejournal.com and had a lot of comments that needed responses. I have cyber-friends on the Sketchy- doodles community, which is a very interesting place. I've also been downloading some free software to work with photos, and see if there is any potential to ex- pand my artistic expression.
