I grew up believing the UN was the best institution of the world. All these people are doing their best to make the world be a better place. They try to save lives, help people...well, it's not exactly that. They are more trying to solve all the issues they've created than anything else. If after WW2, they didn't decide to allow to only some countries to have the Nuclear Bomb, North Korea wouldn't be such a b!tch. Even if I disapprove the nuclear test, I knew this would happen some day. I mean damn! Why could the super powers create the bomb in the 1st place? to grow flowers? This is the most terrifying & destructive weapon of the world, so why allow it.The role of the UN is to preserve peace, right? so, isn't it smarter to desarm everybody instead of desarming everybody but the most powerful countries? What is the point of creating an INTERNATIONAL organization if there is no equality? small countries are still at the mercy of the great powers.

    The best decision the UN ever took was to take a group of individuals linked by religion & put them in a territory. Yes I'm talking about the jews & NO! Israel is not a country! there I said it! It is said Great Britain decided to give a part of Palestine to Jews. But I don't care. If the UN didn't decide it, they did nothing to reject the stupidest idea of the history of diplomacy. How people supposed to be rationnal & humanist can base their decision on something as unstable & abstract as reigion. Ok, jews endured terrible things, so did african with slavery or armenian. Did they think that the best way to compensate was to first, drag all the jews in the same place? somebody please explain. Why the britains who want so much to be "captain save the jews" didn't give scotland or Wales to the jews? I can't believe those who took that decision were that stupid.

     The other thing I absolutely don't understand is why poor countries are always the one sanctionned for trading weapons with powerful countries when we know that the US ignores human rights, lies to go to war & even sacrifices the rights of its own citizens to serve personal interest get absolutely nothing, not even a warning???? WHY THE US IS SO ABOVE THE UN? WHY THE UN IS EVEN EXISTING???? why should we even recognize the authority of the UN in the first place?

    I'm not that naive, so I don't think all these diplomats are ignorant & stupid. I don't believe also that the UN is the poodle of Georges Bush. But this is an other subject. I have my own explanation of why the world is such a fucked up world. All this have been planned. It would be frightening & sad to discover all the people leading the great powers are dummies.
