After repeated warnings for various violations of company policies, one of my employees at the packaging department finally got fired. I, together with my personnel manager, had to hand down the decision and sign the letter.
I feel bad whenever I am pushed to fire somebody. But our company policy dictates that three violations within a period of six months shall be a ground for dismissal. His third violation could have merited him a 30-day suspension, but it was I who decided that we just give him a last and stern warning. But he pushed his luck.
So I had to fire him.
