I'm pretty new at blogging, and get
the impression that blog sites are like
clubs. In clubs there is bound to be a
certain amount of cliquishness.
I don't think the spirit of blogging is
about popularity, I think it's about
the human need to relate with others
of like mind, or to respond to others
who touch your heart with something.
My son already is ticked off at the
time I spend at my computer. I
can't imagine having a list
of subscribers as long as my arm;
what kind of thoughtful exchange
can you have with so many ex-
pecting some reaction from you?
The one thing that frustrates me
about SoulCast, is the way the words
get chopped off after your piece
is posted, and the way the lines
get broken up. To compensate
for that I put a mark at 51 charac-
ters, and try to stay within that
boundary.
I'm still not sure if your comment
about liking the writing was meant
for me, if it was thanks.
Thinking of writing: I'm looking for
a site where I can post my book,
one chapter at a time. I tried it on
LiveJournal, and it submitted the
first half page as if I were done;
I hadn't even completed 25% of
the chapter. I assume LJ will
not support this. Have you seen
any sites that look like anyone is
doing this on SoulCast?
