Two better questions you could ask yourself are:
Do I really want to change? and, What do I want to change?
For someone with your caliber of success, according to world standards, I'm surprised
that you don't see that anything is possible, if you set your mind to it.
Isn't that what self-improvement is all about?
Believe it or not, it's all a matter of choice. If we say something is too difficult,
then we won't try. I can't, is one of the worst things we can program into
our thinking. And this can't teach old dogs new tricks is a cop out.
We are creatures of habit, and don't like stepping out of our comfort zone.
I admit that having money to get what you want does change the way we think;
however, this time is money motto is a world system myth. Time is not money!
It's only the preoccupation of making money that puts a dollar value on time.
Don't forget, all work and no play makes Joe a very dull guy. Changing the way
you feel about blogging is a good place to start changing. It's our attitudes
that need changing, to affect change. That's what biblical repentance is all
about; changing our thinking, which changes our attitudes.
For instance, when you are finished with the days business, forget about
money; relax and enjoy the experience, take more time to think about some
things other than what you think it's costing you.
You remind me of my parents and others who raised a family in the depression
or post war years; constantly worried about what they can't afford;
programming their kids with a lack mentality. They brought the family to
Canada in the '57, when the immigration department was encouraging trades
people to come here.
Through dad's careful planning they retired very nicely; before mom got
sick they went to Florida for the winter, and went to England in the summer.
But through it all they never lost that lack mentality when it came to
spending money. I believe it's a fear of stepping out of one's comfort zone.
Before I close I want to say that was good advice in your "Secret of Success."
I was hoping to find a way to make money on the net to stimulate the
cash I need for my retirement years. I realized this morning that the carrot
to attract people to earn money blogging at SoulCast was to have Google
ads.
I was accepted by them to put ads on my web site, but now I have the
confidence to try the copy and paste thing, I keep getting a sorry notice;
not able to process or something right now, try again later. I'm beginning
to wonder if it's more trouble than it's worth.
