Read some of my friends blogs this morning and it inspired me to fill in an entry myself today..Thinking of a title is always a headache for me cos i always want it to be eye catching enough for people to read it..

But today's title was really easy.. cos i realised that it's the simple things in life that is most important.. witnessed my friend of 10 years get married yesterday.. it was no extravagant affair, though it was at a nice hotel and the food is really good, what made the wedding an unforgettable one for the newly weds as well as their guest is the warmth and love that was radiating from the whole atmostphere.. cos the wedding was put together by family and friends who truly helped from the bottom of their hearts, just with the simple fact of wanting to make the wedding special for the newly weds. From car decoration to corsages, to the decoration at the wedding reception, everything was put together by the bride's family who spent a whole day before the wedding putting things together for them..in the newly weds' thank you speech, one thing that came up very evidently is that everyone at the wedding meant something to them, which is why they are invited to be part of the wedding.. tears of joy streamed down my face as i hear the bride's speech.. she's been a big part of my life even though we don't meet up very often, we made a pact to meet up at least once a month to catch up.. and that has been one thing that we always look forward to.. even though she's married now, the tradition won't change...

God is so good to bring me back to the fundamentals of life.. to experience all the simple things in life that i can give thanks for.. to let me realise that no matter what life brings next, there are still things to give thanks for.. even in the midst of my challenge at this moment in time, Thank God for family members who have been so loving to me.. for friends who have always stood beside me.. special mention have to go to my boss and wife whom i've worked with for the past three years.. they've been my mentor and friends.. sometimes we don't seem to say how much we love the people around us enough... Family and friends whom are really close to my heart, i thank God for each and everyone of you.. i love all of you lots! =)
