Throbbing Pagan Sex God (The Winterbourne Chronicles) is my blog-novel-in-progress about 17-year-old Quin's attempts to become a god. After all, anyone can study to be a lawyer, or a mechanic, or a professional 12-century French medieval reenactor. It takes special talent to apotheosize. The story is also about the other Winterbournes, their very strange mother, and the even stranger house they all live in.

I call this a blog novel, but it's more like notes for a blog novel. Scenes don't segue into one another, and the whole doesn't add up to a complete story yet. I was putting the plot together as I wrote, so there's an early character, Mariah, who gets written out later (but I haven't rewritten her scenes yet), and the characterization and motivations bounce around until I get a firm grasp on the remaining characters. Still, the Winterbournes are fun to watch, and people I've shown these snippets to have enjoyed them immensely. So--please take this for what it is, and feel free to comment, critique, ask questions, etc. I'm open to any response you have, good or bad.
