Is it just me or is SC slowing down, I seem to remember posts with hundreds of views, not so anymore.
Anybody have an idea if this site is growing or not?
I am actually still promoting it whenver I get a chance to drop a link, you should too.

honestly, i'm a bit disappointed.. coz i thought that there's thousands and thousands of bloggers in this site.. darn! just a few hundreds.. i do promote soulcast in my 3 other sites.. but still, even myself isn't growing in this site.. LOLzzz!

There are over 50,000 members of SC. But I think the active ones are a lot lesser.
How do you promote? I don't want to put it on my other sites because that could mean losing my anonymity.

yea if you click on the user "soulcast" then you'll see "who's reading" soulcast, it's over 50k. but you see mostly the popular people when you first sign in. if you click on the most recent posts and greet the newest users ("my first blog!"), they'll probably stay. =)

TN, funny that you wrote about this coz that is what I have noticed also. A post with only two comments already get featured on the front page. This means that only a few guys are commenting and reading these days.
But I am very loyal to this community and I hope it will grow!

It seems any post with sex or sex-related topics gets a lot of viewing, therefore many people are posting only that. Result is many readers, who aren't that interested in reading about others' sex lives or someone's sexual fantasy, are losing interest. I am not objecting to anyone's right to post whatever they want, & some sex-related posts are great. But too many of them are very similar, with less variety.

Labirinth, fully agree with you.
I think a lot of people join and think they will make a quick $100. But there are many people who blog here for the good blogging it is. I recently wrote a reply comparing SCters to people on some other blog, SC definately way above average!
Astrapsee, I agree, there should be a way people with similar interests could get to each others posts more easilly, I don't know?

Nakedproffessor: you have to post really original stuf that get people to comment regularly, even if they disagree, its all about getting people to participate. You have to put in some effort man!
