My cats and dog cannot tell me if it is ailing. Main point: We should all be familiar with our animal's normal behavior -- sudden changes may be signs that something is wrong. Behavior includes physical, mental, and social behavior. I have learned to familiarize myself with basic dog care and cat care issues, which symptoms to look for, and a few emergency care treatments. I try very hard to keep my babies healthy. I am sometimes tempted to treat them myself, especially if I see that perhaps Dae (my eldest) is "mournful". However, if I need to take one of the babies into see a Vet, I know exactly what to tell the vet in order to help the vet treat my baby. Note to all: Try to use intelligent and knowledgeable information when describing symptoms to the Vet.
