Oh, I laugh--heartily and deeply--when I hear someone chatter about men and women being equal.
I've been alive a long time and I have never heard a MAN chatter about this, but maybe it's just a statistical aberration.
First thing you have to do is actually look up the meaning of the word "equal." Having the same quantity or measure of another. Being the same as all members of a group. Showing or having no variance in proportion, structure, or appearance.
I really don't think any of these apply to men and women.
Let's get mathematical for a second. Does 1 EQUAL .9999999999999999?
No. It's really, really close, but they're not equal. Women will say that's being technical. Men will say that's being precise. Which is why you want a guy building your rocket ship and not a women, for the most part.
So while we're ALMOST equal, we have these...differences. Like brain chemistry and bodily hormones and such. Oh, and men don't have vaginas. That's another thing that makes it impossible for us to be equal. You notice these things when you keep your eyes peeled.
And now that we've established we're not equal, we ask WHY? Why will men and women never be equal, other than the obvious biological reasons?
Because women couldn't handle being equal to men in, well, actually the length of time would be from the beginning of civilization till whenever you're reading this.
Here are just some of the many reasons:
1. Women wouldn't wear a condom.
2. Women wouldn't enjoy paying for half the freight while having zero decision making power in the baby department. "It's my body and it's your bank account although we both made the mutual decision to bump uglies."
3. Women couldn't handle it if they had to meet the men's requirements in all sorts of things, including fitness requirements in the military.
4. Women's college sports wouldn't like it if they had to survive based on popularity.
5. Hey, didja ever wonder why if women outnumber men there hasn't been a man president? They could just vote Oprah into office every year if they wanted! I don't think they'd like it if we were equal in this area, either.
6. Men do not menstruate in outer space. That's why Starfleet captains are all men or women past menopause.
7. If men and women were equal, then men could give birth to children and women would be forced to relinquish the only trump card in their "men vs. women" hand.
8. Try getting out of a speeding ticket without a big set of hooters sometime.
9. If men and women were equal, one of two things would happen. Women would, like men, want sex all the time and the species would overpopulate. OR, men would, like women, never want it and procreation would cease. Either would result in extinction of the human race.
10. Women would like The Three Stooges. Seventh sign of The AntiChrist.
We may be equals, but we're never be equal. So get over it. And make me a turkey pot pie, woman!

I know I couldn't handle: Stepping into high-heels every workday. Having my friends talk dirt about me when I wasn't around and then inviting me to talk dirt about someone else when that person wasn't around. Wire bras. My girlfriend complains about those. Worrying about panty lines showing. Knowing I was behaving irrationally but being unable to do anything about it until my hormones were back in ballance. Feeling jealous everytime my BF talked to an attractive woman. Worrying about my nails and make-up every morning and throughout the day. Wondering how much time was left on my biological clock. Having to pack all sorts of extra accessories for a camping trip. And lots of other things. -

Another thing that make men and women different is there math skills. You see most of the greatest mathematicians and physicists are men. You can say that this is because in the times of Newton,Gauss,Fermat and so and so, women weren't even allowed to learn math(or any science for that matter). Women may get more college degrees even in math(not in Physics though) but when it comes to really advanced,groundbreaking math men are far ahead of women. Let me share a relevant story... I work as head of IT for a medium sized company. I work very closely with the owner to determine current technology needs.. So we get a lot of time to just talk and BS and shoot the shit or whatever. The other day he tells me (jokingly) how he doesn't want to hire any more women. Right now I'd say we have about a 50-50 split in the office. I ask him why that is.. his response: " When I tell a guy to go do something a certain way he goes and does it without question, when I tell a woman to do the same thing all she will do is want to know why, tell me it should be done different, and then do it her own way anyway". Now it's possible he was referring to one single woman and incorrectly extrapolating that to "all women". But I still think it's relevant to this topic. It comes down to this... equal pay for equal work question. See, to my boss from his point of view... he isn't getting the same quality of work from this woman... as he is from that man. No stereotype led him to this conclusion, it was real world observation at his very own company. Let me qualify this by saying, no it is NOT right or correct in anyway to generalize about a certain sex based on the performance of one member of that sex... or even 10 members of that sex. However, this sort of thing does happen. There are some really dumb men out there who wreck some things for us guys, but there are far more spectacularly stupid women out there ruining it for all you good, real women... -

We women have only been voting in the US since 1920 (long after the Industrial Revolution, which jumpstarted global warming. Might I add the lack of emissions-regulating laws during this time due to men's stupidity.). In many other countries women have just recently been given the right to vote. Still others dont even allow women common rights that we have today such as owning property.
War is fought by men. Disease--for example AIDS mostly spread by men due to their physiology and promiscuity. It even was started by men 'somehow' contracting AIDS from monkeys. Did you know that in Africa is it believed by men that a man can get rid of AIDS by having sex with a virgin? They rape children--even babies further spreading the disease among the innocent! Famine is due to the world's leaders' inability to provide adequate resources for their people partially due to their greed for money.
You men have been in control for the majority of written history. Your inability to take responsibility for your actions has cost us dearly. Wake up from your slumber of denial and face the cold reality of failure.
But it is not too late. I still have faith in man. If we stop this senseless bickering and work together, we can pull through. But you cannot do it without women. Have you no shame? Do you have a mother, sisters, aunts, female cousins, etc.? Would you not wish them health and prosperity? Stop this nonsense. It makes you appear weak, dishonorable, puny, and ignorant.

This proof is one of the most basic problems you will encounter in elementary calculus. I know because I have successfully completed (my puny woman brain managed all A's) 2 semesters of college calculus and am currently enrolled in Differential Equations.
Just wondering..did you do any research at all on this point or did you just pull this out of your ass?
