only god knows how i feel right now at this moment.. 5 years living witout a proper job, doin freelance most of the time, part time here and there, and finally i got a job!

it's been so long.. it's hard for me to apply for a job. first, i dont have any qualification but o'level, second, i just got to develop my english not long ago.. so it's really tough for me to get employed by any company in malaysia.

i'm employed, so at least now i have a basic income, then i'll be happy doing my freelance job when i have free time, and that for sure will be my side income..

Congrats! What kind of job did you get? Do you find it hard to cut back on your freelance career?

I think we are in the same boat. Now I worry so much about the 'real job' I have no energy left to paint or write or pursue any of my freelance businesses. So I'm trying hard not to lose any of the things I worked on before I got the 'real job'. I can't sleep at night. I asked my friend how long it took him to adjust from having no job to a full time job. He just looked at me like I was crazy and said 'What are you talking about?" I don't think I want to talk to him anymore about my feelings because he'll never get it. I asked him when this 'real job' would kick in to bring me the happiness and job security he thought I should have. Again, he just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language.

blade, the job is like, troubleshooting internet connection of one broadband provider here in malaysia.. i supposed for the first week of working should be tiring, thus i'll put aside all my freelance job untill i managed to handle my schedule accordingly..

butterscotch, really we are in the same boat? wow, congrats to you too.. just try to be with it, and sure you can do your work without leaving your sidejob.. it will take sometime

    wonderful_life, thanks i appreciate that..
