Hello World!

It is Autumn and I love it! After a long and dry summer the rains and chilly mornings are here. One by one the maple trees are getting dressed in red, orange, yellow.

The sea is still warm. The nights are warm. Last night there was a full moon.

But where are the people? In summer we are about 10 000 people living on 'my' islands, but the all-year-round inhabitants are only 1450. The tourists come here in July, when every single hotel and restaurant already is full. Why don't you people come in August, September, October?

Funny, but for me this late summer-early autumn is the absolutely best time of the year. I would not leave my island now and travel anywhere, no way! This is the paradise on earth for me. I think I must be an 'autumn' person.
