This is a late post. This is supposed to be posted last thurs, but we went home early that day because of the typhoon & I never got the chance to finish my entry.
So here it is....
Last thurday we we're still working despite of the news about the typhoon.Which said in the news last wednesday night that the province where our plant is located is in signal 2.But we we're surprised with whats happening during that day.
The day started as it was a normal day for us,then my boss asked me to check the other data center if there were some water "licks"(that's what texting will do you, decreasing your spelling knowledge.lolz).So I checked it then I went to the CR.In the gowning area,I found our director & the plant's Gen.Manager.Our director said "free shower in the hallway" & he even touch my my hair (*wink*) and told me "oh it's raining your when"knowing that i just came from the production.I heard the lady guard that there was some water coming in the production line.=O...
Then my groupmate told us about what happen to the hallways, that was the time I understand what our director is teeling us about the free shower at the hallway, the said incident happens at the 1st floor & 2nd floor.I also heard that our TDE office has also water inside even our director's office. Our Teammate also told us that if we saw what's happening outside, more specifically at the parking lot you'll be horrified with the scenario.Even us,we witness how strong the wind is that day.Imagine 6-8 person pulling a steel made door?& when we look at it again we a car outside just to prevent the door from opening. While the trees oputside are like dominos that went down...
At 1pm I'll attend a training/seminar,so it was before 1pm when i was about to go at the venue I saw water coming in at our plant,at the hallway going to canteen & HR office,& at the seminar's venue.Damn!that wasn't really normal like what my teammate told us.water inside the plant?Luckily the production was not affected with what happened.
Operators from A-shift was not allowed to go home at 2pm,while no incoming operators for B-shift that day.Worst,Operators(or some of them) from C-Shift from the previous day also stayed at the plant.I heard that the management allowed them to sleep at the 3rd floor...
We went home at 3:15pm but the shutle arrived at almost 4pm & we still have a long road to travel...=(
