  I just wish I understood what the bill really says. From my understanding, there may not be three people in the country who do. I read where the bill was 1990 pages - and that is in a foreign language (legalese).

  That is the problem I have been trying to get across. They do not care what is in it. They could care less about helping people with health care or anything else. They should be concentrating this effort on helping people with jobs, getting the government out of the way of the American capitalist system. Instead, they want to take more control of our lives, create a bigger government. They simply want to tell us what to do. They want us all to be even more dependent on big government. How is making people buy insurance solving the problem? It is all smoke and mirrors. Obama wants to stand up and say he brought change, he got healthcare reform passed, but what does that mean? It means higher priced healthcare because the government is now in the big middle of it and most likely rationing of care like in other countries that have Socialized medicine (Canada, England, etc.). People have chosen to ignore the lessons from those countries and now we get to find out the hard way. I just thank God that I am in pretty good health and it probably will not matter that much to me. I figure this bunch of idiots will be voted out as soon as possible, but will too much damage already be done? Can this stupidity be undone quickly enough to matter? Democrats are notorious for trying to improve things and instead totally screwing things up. That is why older people are usually Republicans or at least conservative Independents, because they remember the last crop of Democrats that came in and screwed everything up. Thanks to people like Jimmy Carter, Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd we have our current financial crisis. What kind of idiot thinks that people can buy a house when they have no money, do not make enough money to make the payments, and have a poor credit rating to boot? These are the kind of people we want in charge of our healthcare system?

  This system will implode under its own weight in twenty years or less. obama doesn't care because the latest he's out of office is 2016. most of the members of this current house and senate will also be long gone, leaving future generations of leaders to dig us out of the mess we made.

  I did not put them in power, and I cannot wait until they are gone. I only hope a majority of Americans know when they have been raped. That is how I envision all this -- Obama, Pelosi, and Reid taking turns fucking America in the backside. (Yes, Pelosi has something to rape us with I am pretty sure.) Never have so many fought so hard for as big a piece of shit as all this is. I pray the Senate will be thinking a little more clearly.
