And they are all mine!
I needed a new pair of walking sandals for my trip. It's a cruise but I hope to do some sightseeing when we are in port and my favorite walking sandals are looking a little tired. I have very fussy, old lady, diabetic, feet and so shoe shopping has become more of a chore than the pleasure it was in the past. And yet. I do soooooo love shoes. New shoes especially. So, in spite of any good sense, I get excited and hopeful that there will be some new and "cute" shoes with my name on them, just waiting for me in the store.
Did I find them? Did I find the fountain of youth? Did I find the answer to world peace? Not to keep you in suspense, the answer is nooooooooo.
What I did find is the world's UGLIEST sandals. Made with materials I can not identify, though the bottoms look exactly like tractor tires. They are big. They are clunky. They have horrible straps all over the place. And they cost $140. Who knew ugly could be so expensive.
So. Why did I purchase them??? They are comfortable. Light. Form fitting without being tight. Terrific arch supports. Adjustable heel straps. (You'll notice not one thing is about them being cute!)
Those Mayan ruins better be worth it..........
And this was my weekend contribution. Ta Da!!!
