HUMANS ARE CARROTS!!!
I swear that post made me laugh for 20 minutes. It is a sensitive issue though. It's not a good idea to believe everything the media feeds your brain. I remember reading a similar (though more detailed) post about the media while surfing through SoulCast, but can't quite remember if it was Voltaire's or ALIENated's post. Something about how the media is currently suffering from gossip-ophrenia (lol sorry). I'll have to look up on that.
It's sad how things that were created for bigger purposes have cannon-balled downhill. In my opinion, when it comes to the media's gossip-frenzy, they're taking the coward's way out. They don't care about what they air, no matter how pathetic the attempt, as long as they get their views and ratings.
But we can't blame just them either. I mean, think about it, most of the channels go with popular demand, and the brain-drain hogcrap they air is actually chosen by the viewers themselves. There's always two sides to a story, and our side is much more pathetic than theirs.
It's kinda like this kid I saw in a shitty movie interview the other day:
"I don't really feel the musician if he keeps lookin' down at where he's playin' over and over again, I just don't feel that..."
Someone should smack that retard over the head with a fire hydrant and then make him understand that it's not about how one "looks" while they're playing something, it's about "what" they're playing and "how well" they're playing it!! Fucking high-class wannabe musicians... bleh... you can't blame them either. After all, the whole concept of music as a form of art has changed into a form of fashion. Dammit that bugs the shit outta me.
So yeah... I agree...
