As Pelosi’s office ordered members to stay in town for a possible Saturday night House vote on health care, other Democrats were suggesting that it's time to take the foot off the gas.

This bunch is clueless. Did Pelosi and Reid fail to notice the election results on Tuesday? They may not have noticed, but other Democrats did. Especially Democrats in traditionally Republican (red) states. Freshman Democrats like Representative Parker Griffith from Huntsville, Alabama are getting nervous. And they have good reason to be nervous.

The voters have awakened from their "I hate George Bush" daze and are turning on Democrats. I would assume most voters (especially Independents) feel like a young girl who just sobered up and realized she was raped while in a drunken stupor. This time last year, Obama lulled a majority of voters into thinking he had a better plan for America. As the fog lifts, we find that his plan is simply Socialism. Anyone that knows Obama's history is not at all surprised. He is simply doing what he has been trained all his life to do.

And the voters are telling him it is not working and that they do not want it.

If Pelosi does have a vote on Saturday night (what the hell?), Democrats better realize that they could be casting the vote that will end their career as a politician. Just because their leaders have gone nuts does not mean they have to go nuts, too.
