Churches that Adhere to New Age Ideology

Scientology

The Western Anglicized continuance of many earlier forms of wisdom. These include the Vedas, Taoism, Buddhism, Judaism, Gnosticism and early Greek civilization; and the teachings of Jesus, Nietzsche, and Freud.

Christian Science

Christian Science denies that the incarnation of Christ was the fullness of deity dwelling in human flesh, denies the perfection of the man Jesus, and attempts to explain away the historical death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.Christian Science believes that Mary's conception of Jesus was spiritual Science and the virgin birth of Christ is described and explained: "Jesus was the offspring of Mary's self-conscious communion with God. ... Mary's conception of him was spiritual." Christian Science believes that the names "Jesus" and "Christ" do not refer to the same person -- that Jesus is the human man and Christ is the "divine idea" i.e., "dualism" They teach that the spiritual (good) cannot dwell in material bodies because they are evil; thus Jesus could not have been both God and man. Christian Science believes that Jesus was not God and the only way to heaven, but only the "wayshower"

Robert Schuller and his possibility thinking doctrine and Norman Vincient Peale and the power of positive thinking

"Jesus never called a person a sinner.”This insight led to Schuller’s philosophy of possibility thinking and self-esteem. Schuller writes: "Possibility thinking and self-esteem theology can both be summarized in this single sentence: The ‘I am’ determines the ‘I can.’” His idea was that the key to making positive thinking work out practically was to develop high self-esteem. He imagines that people to not realize their full potential because of low self-esteem.Religious liberalism is New Age.Spiritualism

These are the three fundamental concepts of Spiritualism.

Spiritualism, in its pure essence, has its roots in ancient religion and spirituality. In effect, Spiritualism represents the alternative to Materialism. Furthermore, it is the basic essence from which all religious thought appeared and continues to appear on this Earth plane. Spiritualism, itself, as a concept of communication between those in the body and those in Spirit.

Unitarianism

The Universal Fatherhood of God. Unitarianism is the belief that God exists in one person, not three.Human reason and experience should be the final authority in determining spiritual truth.
This is a religion based upon personal hopes and desires and not upon the the Bible.

Theosophy

Theosophy is derived from two Greek words –Theos , God; Sophia, Wisdom –and is therefore God-Wisdom, Divine Wisdom. This inner, or esoteric, side of religion is found in all the great faiths of the world.Theosophy is this direct knowledge of God; the search after this is the Mysticism, or Esotericism, common to all religions, thrown by Theosophy into a scientific form, as in Hinduism, Buddhism, Roman Catholic Christianity, and Sufism. Like these, it teaches in a quite clear and definite way the methods of reaching firsthand knowledge by unfolding the spiritual consciousness, and by evolving the organs through which that consciousness can function on our earth –once more, the methods of meditation and of a discipline of life.

Hence it is the same as the Science of the Self [Atma-vidyä], the Science of the Eternal [Brahma-vidyä] which is the core of Hinduism; it is “the Knowledge of God which is Eternal Life” which is the essence of Christianity. It is not a new thing, but is in all religions.

Bahai
They teach it is all the same God no matter what the different religions call him or define him, her or it as.They teach the Oneness of mankind, the Oneness of religion,Oneness of God.

Catholic Mystisism

Mysticism is an attempt to gain ultimate knowledge of God by a direct experience that bypasses the mind.

This has been actively promoted through self-help medical, educational and psychological programs employing methods such as meditation, philosophical programming, and self-hypnotic contemplation. Mystical God consciousness is an attempt to replace Christ's redemption and salvation.

Liberal Christianity

The word liberal in liberal Christianity denotes a characteristic willingness to interpret scripture in a broad-minded, frank, and intellectually independent manner—with no preconceived notion of inerrancy of scripture when its passages are literally interpreted. A liberal Christian may hold certain beliefs in common with traditional, orthodox, or even conservative Christianity.
Liberal Christians do not believe in a literal translation of the bible. Many see the Bible as a witness to revelation, or generally inspired, rather than completely inspired in all its parts. Just as Jesus was fully human and wholey divine, so one must also see the Bible as a product of both human and divine influences. Indeed, liberal Christians are quick to point out that the falleness and imperfection of its human authors gives the Bible an imperfect quality and authority.

Liberals view Scripture through a critical lens, challenge traditional assumptions and interpretations. They rely heavily on criticism of the Bible, which looks into the origin and composition of the biblical texts, revealing a great deal about the human aspect of Scripture. Modern philosophical, biological, and cosmological theories that are well supported by evidence, and reflect the true nature of the world around us, can also shape the way liberals interpret Scripture. Traditional Christian doctrines, such as the Virgin Birth, the Atonement, the Trinity, the deity of Christ, and the Resurrection, are sometimes given new interpretations by liberals.Core doctrines are:
An Intimate, Personal View of God,Universal Salvation,Liberals tend to stress the centrality of community in the Christian experience.Liberal Christians support inclusivity in church membership, with no rules excluding people on account of their supposed living of a "sinful lifestyle" or being "unrepentant sinners" -- recognizing that all have sins to which we are blind.

Liberal Christians tend to take the researches of scholarship seriously, and to guide their own views of such matters as the interpretation of Scripture and issues such as evolution, human sexuality, social justice, etc., based on informed scholarly research.

Liberal Christians tend to focus very much on the specific teachings of Christ as opposed to theology based in Pauline and OT Scripture, in asserting what is the primary mode of determining how one should follow Christ, in terms of doctrinal and moral questions.

Liberal Christians, while not denying Conservative efforts to do the right thing, tend to look on all issues from a perspective of compassion, mercy, and affirmation of human dignity, as opposed to a focus on sinfulness and moral rectitude. It does not deny sin or the call to live a moral life, but sees them as tangential to the need to follow God as He showed Himself in Christ, and to affirm the efforts of others to do so. It tends to focus heavily on issues of social justice, mercy, and the doing of good works in the community.

Liberal Christianity: A religious movement that holds beliefs which are opposite to those of conservative Christians:
Emphasizes human rights, the findings of science, and the higher criticism (analysis) of the Bible;
Largely disregards biblical miracles, the infallibility, inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible, the Virgin birth.

Emerging church and Puropse Driven are New Age liberal churches.

Simply, the answer is NO! It doesn't jibe with the rudimentary doctrines of Jesus or even our own sense of morality. Who can condemn a newborn baby for sin? Who can say Adam condemned us all by sinning? It's a crazy concept!...
